General Manager, Factory Automation
Chris heads up Automation Systems for Siemens in Australia and New Zealand, and is responsible for factory automation and process automation control systems inclusive of manufacturing execution systems. Joining Siemens from a background of several years of automation project engineering predominately in the food and beverage and general manufacturing industries, Chris has a passion for automation solutions, the process of how things are made and how technology can help create a sustainable future for Australian business. In 2010 Chris was part of the Siemens Picture the Future Australia 2030 research team, as lead researcher for a technology blueprint on the topic of Safety as launched at the end of 2011. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and computing) from Monash University.
